# John Jones - MAT 300 Homework

An entry like "6acf" means parts a, c, and f from number 6.

Only the underlined homework problems are due on the date indicated. Assignments should be stable, but are subject to change until they have a due date.

If a problem says "Prove or disprove and salvage", then if the statement is true, just prove it. If the statement is false, first prove that it is false (the disprove part), then modify the statement as little as you can to make it a true statement (this is the salvage), and then prove the new true statement. When modifying a statement, you might might the hypotheses stronger, or the conclusion weaker. There might be more than one good salvage for a given problem.
