The 50 state challenge is complete. States are now colored based on my fastest time in that state: 1:40-1:45, 1:45-1:50, 1:50-1:55, 1:55-2:00, 2:00-2:05, 2:05-2:10, 2:10-3:00.

• Best scenery: Mount Desert Island (ME), Valley of Fire (NV). Mesa Falls (ID), Deadwood-Micckleson (SD) (in different ways)
• Best on-course entertainment: Star Wars Dark Side (FL)
• Best post-race party: New Orleans Jazz (LA)
• Toughest: Star City San Bruno Mountain (CA) (running up and down a mountain with 2400 feet of elevation gain)
• Race I liked least: Mowdy Ranch (OK) (true trail run, and it got hot)
